Woodcut technique is an ancient art form widely practiced mainly in India and other Asian regions. The process involves selecting the right wood, creating a block, and then hand-carving the specific pattern. These stereotypes are often used to print on cloth, creating unique patterns and designs. Once completed, the stereotype is soaked in dye and pressed onto the fabric to create a delicate print. The woodcut technique demonstrates the artists virtuosity while retaining ancient craft traditions, giving each product its unique style and value. NOTES Our fabric is lightweight yet strong, making it perfect for everyday use. However, avoid placing very heavy items on it. Our Indian hand printed products mostly use vegetable dyes and there may be a slight chance of color bleeding. To prevent this, we recommend avoiding pairing them with light-colored clothing.
